I am a mother of two wonderful girls (4 and 9) and have been happily married for the last 12 years.  About 3 years about I got the Real Estate itch and started investing. 

The first purchase was a townhome that we bought below market using hubby's credit and then had a family member rehab for us.  We learned a lot about family and business --ouch -- all is good now though.

From here I took the creative route and started looking for properties that I could purchase with lease option or subject to techniques.  A funny thing happened in doing this -- I ended up finding pre foreclosures.  So the 2nd deal I did was a short sale.  I found that I really liked this type of thing and now have done several short sales.  Some have gone great and some have had multiple issues.

I have also done some lease options and some sub-2's.

I had a lot of resources to help me out and because of that I starte Real Estate Success Link - a resource for other investors.
