Welcome to my new blog.  My name is Kay and I run a website called REtips.com.  I publish periodic newsletters that are made up of marketing tips submitted by REtips.com subscribers.  (For the whole pathetic story on how all this got started go to REtips.com.)

The majority of the tips that get submitted to me are tips you have heard a thousand times.  Those tips get chunked.  What I publish are the wacky, weird, brilliant or otherwise creative tips that come my way.  I am of the opinion that traditional marketing is boring.  Sure it has it's place - I mean really - would you really want to do REI without business cards?  All I am saying is that in order to get noticed, sometimes you need to be unique.
